COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS DINNER 2014
CrossPoint Church/Global Care Wamuran are working with Friends of the Street Crisis Centre to provide a Community Christmas Dinner for Families in hardship in the Caboolture/ Morayfield area, both organization’s provide a number of greatly needed services to families and individuals in our community.
CrossPoint Church/ Global care Wamuran provide individuals and families in need of emergency assistance with food hampers and ongoing weekly meals for the homeless in the Caboolture / Morayfield area.
Our work has a powerful impact not only on the people that we work with directly, but also on the larger community as a whole. We are completely reliant on charitable donations in order to provide these services.
This year the Community Christmas Dinner will be catering for and supplying a Christmas gift for approximately 250 needy and homeless people on 20 December 2014 at the Caboolture Memorial Hall. We are asking for the donation of new items that we can use as gifts and/or monitory donations to help cover the costs involved in running an event like this, whatever you can share will be greatly appreciated and put to good use right here in your local community.
What better way to celebrate Christmas than by sharing what you have with neighbors who are in need of assistance to meet their basic needs? Your generosity will have a positive impact on people who are in need, as well as the larger community. Every gift matters and will help us to create a better Christmas for those who would otherwise go without.
